Giorgio Boggero is an experienced international executive with over 30 years’ experience in the consumer goods and agri-food sectors. He now advises entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and private equity investors on their strategic operations, growth initiatives and business transformations, with a particular focus on M&A opportunities in the Italian consumer goods market.
Before turning to M&A advisory, he held various CEO and executive roles within international companies and firms supported by private equity funds. In particular, he served as Group CEO of EKAF (Cellini Caffè), where he led the company’s transformation into a structured management organisation and drove strong growth through organic initiatives and the successful integration of several acquisitions. He was also Managing Director Europe at Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group (Segafredo), overseeing operations in more than twenty countries and contributing to the group’s international expansion, notably through cross-border partnerships and acquisitions.
Previously, he held senior management positions at Cloetta (Sperlari), Bialetti, L’Oréal and Kimberly-Clark, developing strong expertise in consumer brands, international distribution and operational development.
In 2026, he joined Carmine Capital as Partner for Italy to support the firm’s expansion in the Italian market.
